ICANN is a nonprofit organization responsible for coordinating the maintenance and procedures of several databases related to the namespaces of the Internet, ensuring the network’s stable and secure operation. They will periodically send out emails to domain name owners to verify that the whois information of the domain is factual and up-to-date. In these emails, there is a link to click to verify that the whois information is correct.
Failing to verify the whois information of your domain will result in your domain registration becoming suspended. As a result, your website and email will go offline. To get the domain back online, you will need to login to your client area and review the whois information for the domain. You need to have access to the registrant contact email address.
Once logged in to your client area, you will need to click Domains > My Domains > My Domains > Active (to the right of the domain listed) > Contact Information (under the Manage menu on the left).
Once you have reviewed the whois information and have checked to make sure you have access to the registrant contact email address, please let our team know by submitting/replying to your ticket. We can then get a verification email resent to you with which you can verify the whois information. Your domain will be brought back online after it has been fully verified.
