Please see the following steps on how to enable spam filtering on your LetsHost email address in Plesk.
- Log in to your LetsHost Client Area and click on Services > My Services
- You will see your products/services listed out here. Click on ‘Manage’ beside your Windows hosting package
- At the bottom, click on the ‘Login to Plesk Control Panel’ button
- Once logged in to Plesk, click on ‘Mail’ on the navigation bar on the left
- Click on the email address in the list that you want to add filtering to
- Tick “Switch on spam filtering for this email address”
- Mark spam messages by adding the following text to message subject
- This option will append ” ***SPAM*** ” to the subject line of the email but will still deliver to the inbox like normal.
- Delete all spam messages
- This option will delete any mail it detects as spam (mails deleted will not be recoverable)
- Move spam to the “Junk E-mail” folder
- This option will send any mail marked as spam to a Junk folder instead of the inbox
- Advanced settings:
- Spam filter sensitivity determines the score a mail has to reach to be considered spam. The lower the number the more strict the filter will be (higher likelihood mail will get marked as spam), the higher the number the looser the filter will be (lower likelihood mail will get marked as spam).
- White Listed email addresses will bypass the filter. Black Listed email addresses will always be marked as spam
- Trusted Languages – Email messages written in these languages will always pass the filter.
- Trusted Locales – Email messages that use the specified locale groups will always pass the filter.
- Trusted Networks
- If you know the IP address or IP range that the sender will be sending from you can whitelist this here.
- Click Apply to save all your changes.
