Your LetsHost hosting account will allow you to add multiple domains as “Alias” domains which you can use to redirect to your main domain (or any website) and set up email accounts, or an “Addon” domain that will have it’s own website independent from your main domain and email accounts.
- Log in to your LetsHost Client Area
- Navigate to your hosting cPanel
- Under the Domains section click on the Domains icon.
- Click the Create A new Domain button on the right hand side.
- Enter the new website name (domain name) in the Domain text box.
Under the Document Root (File System Location) section you will see a checkbox beside:
Share document root (/home/$cPanel/public_html) with “YourMainDomain.com”.
If the check box is ticked, this will configure the new domain as an “Alias” (used for redirects and email only)
Simply click Submit (or Submit And Create Another) to add your domain as an “Alias”

If the check box is unticked, this will configure the new domain as an “Addon” (used for independent website and email)
More options will appear, generally we recommend to leave these settings to what they default to and click Submit (or Submit And Create Another) to add your domain as an “Addon”
For advanced users:
The first text box is for the website directory where the website files will need to be uploaded to.
A “constraint” of cPanel is that it requires a subdomain off the main domain to configure the “Addon” domain, we simply recommend however to just leave this to what it defaults to, you may see this subdomain in other areas (such as creating email accounts etc.) this can simply be ignored however.
The final step in this process is to update the DNS nameservers of the domain(s) to point to your hosting account. If you are unsure of these, please refer to your ‘hosting account welcome email’. Please note that when updating nameservers, this change can take up to 24 hours to propagate.
